1936 Letterman in football at PCC.
1937-39 Three-year Letterman in football at Fresno St. at guard.
Nicknamed "Raider Al" for spending so much time in opponents' backfields.
Member of Little All American Bowl game at Gilmore Field in Los Angeles.
December 25, 1937 beat Arkansas State 27-26.
Named one of the guards on Fresno State University all time Football Team.
Student Body President at Fresno St. in 1940-41, graduated in 1941.
1942 Joined Air Corp, discharged in as a Captain in 1946,
then served as a reserve major for many years.
Was known as Mr. Fresno for radioand television and 
had many shows on TV and radio.

1963 Distinguished Alumni ofthe Year for Fresno State.
Winner of the Fresno Jr. Chamber of Commerce Distinguised Service Key &
Kenneth L. Hampton Award winner.
Al Radka Park in southeast Fresno is named after him.
