Nicknamed "Raider Al" for spending so much time in opponents' backfields.
Member of Little All American Bowl game at Gilmore Field in Los Angeles.
December 25, 1937 beat Arkansas State 27-26.
Named one of the guards on Fresno State University all time Football Team.
Student Body President at Fresno St. in 1940-41, graduated in 1941.
1942 Joined Air Corp, discharged in as a Captain in 1946,
then served as a reserve major for many years.
Was known as Mr. Fresno for radioand television and
had many shows on TV and radio.

Al Radka Park in southeast Fresno is named after him.
