Named to All Western States Conference in 1968, Earned AA degree in 1969.
1970-1971 Lettermna at Cal State Los Angeles.
Named "Fireman of the Year" in 1971 and was in the Top 10 PCAA ERA leaders.
In 1972 (2.41), Earned BA in 1971.

Began pitching batting practice for the Dodgers in 1971; 30-season career.
Also caught pitchers in the bullpen on road trips.
Pitched in 5 World Series, earning 4 championship rings and 2 World Series rings.
Received 30-year organizational pin from Dodger owner Peter O'Malley.
Pitched and caught in Old Timers games and hired by Don Zimmer to pitch
to many Major League All-Star teams headed to play in Japan.
