Tennis

HONORS / HIGHLIGHTS at AHS:
1981-84 Four-year Letter winner in Tennis, #1 singles player.
Team captain and MVP both Junior and Senior Years.
 Led Tennis team to four straight league championships and was undefeated in league her senior season.
1983 & 1984 Team Most Valuable Player.
1983 Doc Higgins award winner.
Graduated #10 in her class and received the Los Laureados Award.
President of Las Moras and was first person who was not a senior to win the Doc Higgins award.  
Also a member of laule’a and FBLA for 4 years.

PROFESSIONAL TEAM HONORS / HIGHLIGHTS:
Attended and graduated from UCLA with honors then attended the
University of Illinois and earned a Med and JD. 
Has practiced law for almost 20 years.
Returned to Alhambra and helped run the Blue Car Program in the
Government Classes from 1996 to 1999. 
The last 15 years she has volunteered as a Mock Trial Coach at Valencia High School.  
She also teaches Speech and Debate at Kraemer Middle School in Placentia, Ca.
